Pennylane Video based in Buckinghamshire, UK was started in 1985, when video to dvd / Vhs to DVD conversion was unheard of, it all started with the Cine film transfer to video, we didn't even have a computer in those days so could not provide services such as camcorder to dvd conversion, video to dvd conversion.
I started to expand into other areas, in 1987 we filmed our first wedding, by the end of 1987 I'd filmed several. In the December we moved onto filming School plays and Christmas Parties.
By 1989, I had 3 additional cameramen and we were producing 90 wedding video's a year. It was then a difficult task to produce a video; keeping the picture quality acceptable and the edits accurate.
Today is a different story, as everything is filmed digitally and edited digitally on computer we can produce high quality video's, with accurate edits and have 1000's of different effects available if needed. The whole production can then be output and duplicated to various video tape formats and TV systems for worldwide playback. In addition we can produce DVD's, Video CD’s and encoded video clips ( MPEG, AVI, etc.) for your company presentations, as well as encoding video for Web pages and your Corporate Intranet.
We also provide a Camcorder to DVD conversion, Video to DVD, VHS to DVD and Cine Film Transfer service range so if you provide us with the Video Tapes or Cine Film we will convert it to dvd.
